James Parsons

A senior executive,
James has over twenty years’ experience running P&Ls for equity businesses and as a trusted adviser and coach to CEOs, MDs and Partners of professional services firms, banks and law firms.
with a background in investment banking, real estate finance and also in coaching,
He has seen City life from a number of different angles; as a salesman, principal and in management and in his subsequent career as a coach he has gained insight into the diverse fields his clients operate in. He has also raised money for p/e-backed real estate vehicles and has structured many acquisitions. He has had to sell to clients, buy from 3rd parties like law firms and accountants and somehow always keep his client (whoever that might) be at the centre.
he now counsels a number of senior leaders
As a coach, he applies breakthrough discoveries from neuroscience to his work and has spent much of the last five years leading research into the brain at work with some of the world's leading neuropsychologists.
He is fascinated in behavioural science, the art of relationship building and the brain basis for our behaviour - why we want to do one thing and often end up doing the exact opposite!
Personal
A member of The Association for Coaching, The Neuroleadership Institute (NLI) and a qualified practitioner of PRISM Brain Mapping.
James lives in Sussex with his two young children and when he is not jumping on a plane to see a client, he enjoys trying to hit a cricket ball and knocking seven bells out of his piano.
